Ready for Christmas!

Pat did my landscape workshop a while ago at Barrington Patchwork and her finished hanging from the day is pictured in an earlier post. Now she's gone on to make this beauty - I love the silhouetted buildings against the sky.

I'm so pleased that so many people have gone on to finish their landscapes - here is a really cute one from Annette.

Prize winning student!

Bridget made this beautiful quilt in my Fabric Collage Landscape workshop at Ilminster Arts Centre a while ago and entered it to the West Country Quilt Show in November. She won the prize for the Best Small Wallhanging.

Jean's Quilt

During a workshop in Exeter last Saturday, one of the ladies who had done my 'Curvy Cabins' workshop with me a while ago, brought the quilt she had gone on to make using the blocks she made on the day plus a LOT more! Isn't it fabulous? A volcanic eruption of colour and movement. k3n x

Arts Centre Update

I ran my Quilted Textile Art workshop today with 11 lovely, creative ladies who jumped right in and made some fantastic things - despite the fact that we were all of a flutter first thing as a photographer from the local paper (the 'Chard and Illy'), turned up to take our photo! Hopefully this will be in next week's edition - trusting we were all photogenic enough!

Here's a shot of part of my exhibition, I am in the gallery every Monday and Wednesday morning so do come and say hello if you're in the area. The exhibition is open Mon to Fri 9.30 to 4.30 and to 2.30 on Saturday until 26th October.
